Facing growing threats to its terrestrial and marine habitats, Ayvalık has become a centre of environmental movements struggling to protect the region and raise awareness on the climate crisis. As a local activist who has been working with platforms such as The Ayvalık Nature Platform and The Ayvalık Independent Women's Initiative, Nebahat Dinler will discuss the importance of public resistance and keeping a record of these events in the collective memory in the Post-Truth era.
