Zeki Demirkubuz's new film Hayat follows the runaway of Hicran, who is forced into an engagement by her father, and the events that unfold afterwards. Rıza, who thinks that Hicran does not want to marry him anyway, does not care about this situation at first, but as time passes, he starts to get upset and decides to confront her. He embarks on a long and arduous journey to Istanbul in pursuit of his fiancée, whom he has only seen once before.
