Suna, written and directed by Çiğdem Sezgin is a film on women’s poverty. This is both an economic and emotional poverty. The film deals with the issue of how a woman deprived of economic independence is not free actually in any aspect of her life. Çiğdem Sezgin and the film’s lead artist will have a chat with Armağan Çağlayan on being a woman in Turkey, freedom and not giving in.
