REHA ERDEM

Each year at the festival, we try to include discussions related to the environment. This year, we included Eliza Levy’s Composing Worlds in the program upon the recommendation of director Reha Erdem. The film delves deeply into the ideas of French anthropologist Philippe Descola, focusing on the question of why we are increasingly making our world uninhabitable. The screening will be followed by a talk from Reha Erdem, who will discuss the film, which explores a different perspective on the relationship between humans and their environment.
Note: Neandria, directed by Reha Erdem, is one of the first sustainable films. In this film, Erdem brings together seasoned actors and young talents, offering hope that, despite everything, the younger generation will take responsibility for the future and the natural world. Neandria can be seen on Thursday, September 9, at 6:00 PM, at Vural.
