PROF DR. ALİ ALBERT SALAH and
ASSOC. PROF. ALMILA AKDAĞ from Utrecht University Information and Computational Sciences Department

Artificial intelligence was historically born out of a desire to understand the human mind and if possible, to recreate it. However today, it turned into a driving force for automation for the consumer society. From everyday/menial tasks to creative tasks like writing poetry, drawing or composing, today artificial intelligence has permeated daily life (even though we are not aware of it). Albert Ali Salah and Almıla Akdağ from Utrecht University will discuss how/if artificial intelligence does approach human emotions and creativity, and the consequences of collaborating with AI.
Note: Before the talk The Match and Journey to the End of the Night created by AI will be screened.
