Ayvalık International Film Festival, organized by the Eye Society - For All Watching Occasions between 14-19 September, will host students from all over Turkey as part of the Young Cinema program. 30 students to be selected among the applicants will receive courses from industry professionals and gain experience by working with the festival team.
Ayvalık International Film Festival to be organized by the Eye Society - For All Watching Occasions gives educational projects to be carried out with young people a great importance and makes an open call to all students who want to improve themselves in the field of cinema, especially those from film studies or members of the cinema clubs of the universities. 30 students whose applications will be accepted to Young Cinema will be in Ayvalık throughout the festival, and they will be able to participate in workshops given by professional names in different fields such as production, writing, directing, editing, post-production, also become an important part of the festival by taking part in different areas of the festival organization. Transportation, accommodation and meal expenses will be covered by the festival for these students, and they will have the opportunity to watch the remarkable and highly anticipated festival films of the year, follow the panels and speeches, meet and chat with the filmmakers. Apart from the workshops in the program, they will gain experience and improve themselves by doing volunteer work in the festival organization.
