As soon as Hakkı receives the sudden news of his mother’s death, he returns to his hometown, where a series of encounters he would rather avoid awaits him. Making a living in Istanbul as a drag queen, Hakkı has kept his queerness hidden from all family members except his mother. While mourning her loss, he also finds himself under the weight of the expectation to be the “dutiful son.”
