Directed by actress Ece Dizdar, Foreskin tells the story of Azra, a new mother struggling with the unique psychological and physical challenges of postpartum life while also trying to meet the burden of social expectations surrounding her. Facing pressures both internal and external, Azra is tested against the notion of “perfection.” The film invites the audience to look at a subject that resonates in nearly everyone’s life from a fresh perspective
