Director Nathan Grossman tells in this intimate documentary the compelling story of young climate activist Greta Thunberg, who has become the voice of her generation. The film begins with the ‘school strike for climate’ protests in front of the Swedish Parliament, and follows the shy student, who has Asperger’s syndrome, and her journey leading up to her speech at the UN Climate Action Summit in New York. Greta, who has inspired young people around the world and given new momentum to environmental movements, embarks on a journey to America using sea routes and wind power due to her concern about her carbon footprint, marking one of the peaks of her struggle.
