Dormitory tells the story of Ahmet, the son of a wealthy, conservative family caught in the crossfire of conflicting pressures. On one side, there's the rigid pressure of the religious-conservative dormitory where his family sent him; on the other hand, the atmosphere of the highschool, all compounded by the confusion and pain of adolescence… Amid these contradictions, Ahmet finds solace with his dorm mate, Hakan. Coming from a different social background, Hakan’s joyful and unique personality shows Ahmet that there are other ways to live. Yet, the bond of brotherhood has its limits—how far can it truly take them?

Dormitory is a black-and-white ‘coming-of-age story’ filled with unexpected twists and turns. It captures the struggles of a modern youth burdened by paternal authority, societal pressures, and the weight of labels.
