TALK: WHAT DO WE DO AT THE END OF THE WORLD?

Curated by festival program advisor Fatih Özgüven with academic Selim Eyüboğlu, the section What Do We Do at the End of the World? presents films in which the destruction emerges from the collapse of the very habits, belief systems, and symbols that once held societies and minds together. Nuclear war, pandemics, climate crisis, and plagues appear as possible causes of the world’s end, and the choices people make in response suggest it may not be as distant as it seems.
